Pride Chicago, organizers of the Chicago 50th Pride Parade, has announced several Grand Marshals to continue the commemoration and celebration of 50 years since the Stonewall Uprising ignited the fight for civil rights for the LGBTQ community.
Honorary Grand Marshal
Mayor Lori Lightfoot
First openly lesbian mayor in the history of Chicago. Mayor Lightfoot will march behind the banner and the color guard at the front of the parade.
Youth Grand Marshal
13-year-old Molly Pinta drew national attention this year for organizing the first Pride Parade in her hometown of Buffalo Grove.

Award-winning dancer, choreographer, community activist, mentor, and founder of the groundbreaking Joel Hall Dancers and Center.
Prominent business owner (The Baton Show Lounge), active in Democratic Party politics, founding member of Windy City Athletic Association.
Successful businesswoman (former His ‘n Hers Bar), founder of Chicago PFLAG chapter, and powerful community activist reaching back before Stonewall.
